Kids Yoga Workshop Ages 6-11
Join us at evolve for Kids yoga Classes for Ages 5-11!
- engage the children using props, stories, and music in both French and English to get everyone involved
- provide aerobic activity and stretching to meet DPA / APQ and some curriculum expectations
- introduce simple breathing tools and mindfulness techniques to calm children
- create opportunities for positive interaction between children through games and partner yoga

Hot Stone Restorative Yoga Workshop
Restorative Yoga is a deeply soothing inward form of yoga where the body is placed in highly therapeutic postures that are supported with soft bolsters, blocks and cozy blankets while the mind is invited to slow down. The result is a state of relaxation much deeper than traditional sleep. (Postures are held up to 25 minutes each).
Enjoy this relaxing journey as heated basalt stones are gently placed on the body. The heat from the stones gently penetrates into the muscles, melting away layers of physical and emotional tension, allowing you to relax in blissful luxury.

Yoga Nidra Workshop
Yoga Nidra, known as yogic sleep, is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping that is intended to induce total physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Some people say that one hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of sleep!

Prenatal Yoga Workshop
Daniele Dagenais is a Certified Prenatal Yoga Instructor.
Research suggests that prenatal yoga can:
• Improve sleep
• Reduce stress and anxiety
• Increase the strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth
• Decrease lower back pain, nausea, carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms, headaches and shortness of breath
Prenatal yoga can also help you meet and bond with other pregnant women and prepare for the stress of being a new parent.
Each week we will focus on breathing, gentle stretching, asana or poses with modifications per trimester, finishing with a cool down and relaxation.
Each class is an hour long.

Mommy & Baby Yoga
Mommy & Baby Yoga is a gentle yoga practice designed for you and your new baby. The class includes gentle flows and stretching, deep breathing, and moving with your baby! Postnatal yoga helps to rebuild core strength, tone back and pelvic muscles, and release tension in the shoulders, chest and hips. Mommy & Baby Yoga is a beautiful way to connect with your new baby and to meet other mom’s in the community (Dads and caregivers welcome too!).
Babies can get fussy during class — our classes are very casual and you can feel free to nurse and tend to your baby at any time! Bring a blanket for your baby and wear comfortable clothes you can move in. No prior yoga experience necessary. If you have questions about when to start, do ask your midwife or doctor.
